UPDATE....PLUS:
AFRICA II PICTURES ARE HERE
As
you may or may not know, I've been filling in at Hillview this summer,
leading worship. It has gone better than anyone expected it to
(including me), and, thus, the Elders of the church extended to me a job
invitation. So I am currently an official staff member (part-time
one schools starts), a "Ministry Associate" to be exact. I'm
leading worship as well as taking care of all "Communication Ministry"
things (anything visual whether in print or digital). I'm loving
it. God is good.

AFRICA II--PICTURES
COMING SOON!
It
is good to be back from an amazing trip to Tanzania. Pictures and
more on that will be available here very, very soon.
I have wrapped up my time with Teen Mission, and it is back to Hillview
for a few weeks before I head back to school. I love the summer,
but I am looking forward to getting back to school...again, look for the
Africa stuff soon...

An Brief Update &
Isaiah's New Pictures
I am working, for three weeks, with Hillview Christian (my home
church) before heading to Lexington to join Teen Mission, USA.
I can't wait for Africa; it is certainly going to be extraordinary.
Your support both financially and prayerfully is appreciated. I am
enjoying these few weeks home, and I'm particularly enjoying watching
Isaiah's baseball games (visit the SamBowles.com SportsCenter to see
pictures). I am also including (here) Isaiah's most recent

Easter
I certainly enjoyed my weekend home celebrating the Resurrection with
family and friends. We also celebrated Jonathon's 16th birthday.
That's right...he is 16. Hard to believe. Enjoy
the pictures from Easter.
March 22
the first, ever, "what's-up-with-Sam-in-a-nutshell"
Much
has happened. Let me give you the quick version.
I
am going back to Africa!
I was able to arrange an independent study this summer, freeing me from
taking classes.
Your
financial investment in my trip is appreciated. I'm also going
back to Lexington.
I will be joining Teen Mission, USA again this summer, and I absolutely
cannot wait. I loved living in Lexington, working with TM gang,
living with the Hendersons, traveling to camps--bottom line: I can't
wait.
I'm ready for school to be over!
I
recently traveled to the State House, where Representative Oxley was
gracious enough to take me onto the House Floor. A few minutes
later, Tony Dungy and the Colts owner came in to be honored by the
House...Yes,
I was in the same room as Tony Dungy and only feet away from the Super
Bowl Trophy!
School continues to go well, and I am enjoying life. I'm looking
forward to the summer.
God is good.

A note to visitors...
you might notice that when you arrive at "SamBowles.com" and begin
to navigate, the address bar reads "piperservices.com/sam" etc.
This is because Piper Services, a business ran by a good friend of mine,
is being kind enough to host my site on their domain. This is
allowing me to use the new editing software and do all the cool new
things (photo albums for example). It also makes editing and
uploading incredibly easier! I just wanted to explain that, in
